Vice president of Russian Tour Operators Association says tourism industry in Caucasus is developing in right way

Vice President of Russian Tour Operators Association Ilya Umansky told Vestnik Kavkaza in an interview that that the tourism industry in the North Caucasus is developing in the right way.

According to Umansky, some really great achievements have already been made.

"Investment in the region is relatively large. Business is developing. The tourism industry is developing as well," he said.

There are however some problems mainly concerning prejudice about the Caucasus, he stresses. Many don't realize how much the region has changed, Umansky explains.
