Russian, Ukrainian and French presidents and German chancellor discuss Ukrainian crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, their French counterpart Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a quadrilateral phone conversation today.

The parties focused on the ongoing Ukrainian crisis, RIA Novosti reports.

The French president and the German chancellor urged the Russian and Ukrainian presidents to secure the continuation of the ceasefire in the Eastern part of Ukraine and allow OSCE monitoring of the conflict.
