Georgian integration minister visits Croatia

Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alexi Petriashvili is on a visit to Croatia to meet local Speaker of Parliament Josip Leko and Defense Minister Ante Kotromanovic. He will also have meetings at the Croatian Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, News Georgia reports.

The sides will discuss the EU Association Agreement that Georgia signed in Brussels on June 27, challenges and opportunities, the situation in the region, European integration and the prospects of Georgia at the NATO summit in South Wales in September 2014.

Georgia plans to ratify the Agreement before the end of the summer. Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili plans to implement it in September.
