Kozak: Formula-1 track in Sochi will be completed by August 10Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak said that all construction and installation works on the racing track for Formula-1 in Sochi should be completed  before August 10, He recalled that its construction began almost simultaneously with the construction of the Olympic facilities in Sochi and was only interrupted for the time of the Games. "The construction works are going according to schedule, and by August 10 the construction and installation work at the site should be completed," the Deputy Prime Minister said. He drew attention to the fact that the Sochi Olympic Games gave Russia the opportunity to host the race. "For a long time, since the Soviet Union, there has been a dream of having a Formula-1 race in our country. It was proposed to host these events on Red Square, or have a race around the Kremlin that is technologically impossible. Here, if it had not been for the  Olympic Games, we would not have had a chance to have the race," Kozak said.
