Blue Stream halted for maintenance

 

The Blue Stream Pipeline has been halted for maintenance on July 1-5. Gas transit to Turkey through Ukraine will increase for the period, Interfax reports.The pipeline was built in 2002. It is used for about half of all Russian gas exports to Turkey. 13.7 billion cubic meters of gas were transported to Turkey through the pipeline (cap of 16 billion cubic meters a year) in 2013.
