Ukrainian president still committed to finding peace

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko remains committed to finding a peaceful solution to the crisis, according to his envoy to the Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, Irina Gerashchenko, RIA Novosti reports.

She added that the president wanted the military to neutralize resistance without harming the peaceful population.

Poroshenko ended the ceasefire with the eastern part of the country last night.
