Singapore hosts Iranian film festival

The 1st Iranian film festival held in Singapore has been warmly received by both Iranian and native residents of the Southeast Asian island country,

Iranian news agency Press TV reports.

The Speaker of Singapore’s Parliament Halimah Yaqob along with a number of Singaporean officials have attended the festival’s opening ceremony.

The event has been organized by Iran’s embassy in Singapore in collaboration with the State’s Foreign Ministry and Singapore’s Cinema Association.
