Vitas-Bank acting director to go on trial for fraud

 

The acting director of a Vitas-Bank branch in Makhachkala will be under trial for allegedly purchasing property worth over 40 million rubles and acquisition of property worth over 100 million rubles in a fraud scheme.The police say that the banker joined Dagestani lawmaker Magomed Magomedov’s gang in 2011. The lawmaker himself was suspected of racketeering and fraud worth million of rubles in January 2014. He is under arrest. The bank director is also charged with signing fake purchase contracts.
