Grigoryan named Armenian ambassador to Iraq

Karen Grigoryan will replace Murad Muradyan as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Armenia to Iraq, according the President Serzh Sargsyan’s order signed today.Muradyan owns a sports and concert complex in Yerevan. He founded the BAMO construction company with his brothers Boris, Akop and Ovik in the late 1990s. Ovik was killed in Moscow on June 11, possibly over the debts of his company. Murad Muradyan was dismissed as the ambassador on June 26.
