Iraqi PM calls Islamic Caliphate a threat to region

 

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said that the Islamic Caliphate formed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) was a threat to the whole region, ITAR-TASS reports.He emphasized that militants had taken the initiative and started advancing in Iraqi districts. In his words, the military, police and volunteers were withstanding the ISIS offensive.
