Murder attempt on Ingush imam

Unidentified perpetrators blew up a car belonging to Imam Hamzat
Chumakov of the Nasyr-Kort mosque at 9.00 am in Nazran. The imam was
hospitalized with grave injuries, RIA Novosti reports, citing a
spokesman of the investigation department of the North Caucasian
Prosecution Service in Ingushetia.

According to preliminary information, an explosive device was planted
beneath the vehicle.
