Ministry of Interior Affairs to develop special operations teams against terrorism

special operations teams against terrorist threats, the Russian
Minister of Interior Affairs, General Rashid Nurgaliyev, said.
Nurgaliyev and the Commander of Interior Forces, General Nikolay
Rogozhkin, concluded the results of tactical-special training of
special operations groups and reconnaissance for superiority in the
interior forces in the city of Ufa today, RIA Novosti reports.
Nurgaliyev noted the importance of the training. He said that they
need a complex approach to the terrorist issue and consolidation of
the joint efforts of the authorities and society. Professionals were
needed to fight criminals and terrorists. Special operations teams are
what they need, Nurgaliyev said.
After the training on Sunday he emphasized that they will continue
paying extra attention to the special operations teams. 32 teams
participated in the annual competitions. 31 of them were from the
interior forces and there was 1 airborne team.
They competed in handling arms and equipment, physical and
tactical-special skills. There were demonstrations of the forces of
the Bashkir Ministry of Interior Affairs and special operations teams
of the ‘Bulat’ Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs troops in Ufa.
