Palestinian president urges Israel to stop air strikes on Gaza

President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas has demanded that Israel stop the air raids in the Gaza Strip. He asked the international community to stop Israel, ITAR-TASS reports.

Israel started a military operation codenamed Protective Age last night after a month of missile attacks from Gaza. Israeli forces have wounded about 20 Palestinians. Planes and drones have destroyed 47 targets, ships have destroyed 3 targets. Four houses of Palestinian militants responsible for missile launches were attacked.
