Iraq stops air freights to Kurdistan

The Iraqi authorities have suspended air freights to Iraqi Kurdistan. The decision was made after Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki announced that the Kurdish capital of Erbil is being used as a base by militants from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.

The regulations won't affect civilian passengers.
