Russia allocates $2 million to Syria

Russia has provided $2 million to the UN fund for Syria, ITAR-TASS reports. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Alexander Lukashevich, the Russian government welcomes the efforts taken by the Syrian authorities in order to destroy the country's chemical weapons arsenal.
