Both opposition and ruling coalition accuse each other of ballot box stuffing in Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaBoth the opposition United National Movement party and the ruling Georgian Dream coalition are accusing each other of ballot box stuffing in the second round of local elections held in Georgia today.
Mayoral elections are taking place in Tbilisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Poti, Gori and other Georgian cities. Elections are also being held in 13 districts.
Candidates from the ruling Georgian Dream coalition came first in the first round, but failed to gain more than 50 percent of the votes.
As of 5pm local time the turnout was 28.29 percent.
