New carriage-constructing factory to open in Azerbaijan’s Ganja

 

Stadler (Switzerland) is designing a new carriage-building factory in Ganja. The Swiss company is shipping equipment for the new facility, Trend reports.Azerbaijan has to send railway carriages to Russia and Ukraine for reconstruction. The new facility will allow their reconstruction without having to send them abroad.Stadler will have shipped 30 new carriages to Azerbaijan by the end of the year to serve the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway. The railway will be launched in 2015. They will have systems for quick switch to European rails.
