Palestine needs to resume talks with Israel – ambassador

Palestinian Ambassador Fayed Mustafa said that Palestine should resume talks with Israel and searches for political solutions, RIA Novosti reports.

He emphasized that settlement of the conflict should be based on international resolutions. In his words, the Palestinian problem can be resolved by establishing a Palestinian state with the borders set in 1967.

Mustafa quoted President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas saying that Israel should stop building settlements on Palestinian territories, release the fourth portion of prisoners and focus on border problems.
