Ukrainian president scales down zone of special operation

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has had a meeting with law enforcers and proposed scaling down the zone of the counter-terrorist operation, strengthening border defense and providing better protection for the peaceful population, ITAR-TASS reports.

Poroshenko noted that the National Security and Defense Council will hold a session.

The president ordered Ukroboronprom Director General Roman Romanov to improve the mechanism of supplying the military with weapons.
