Georgian president describes Kitsmarishvili’s death as murder
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgian President Georgy Margelashvili demanded investigators to study the murder of Erosi Kitsmarishvili, the founder of Rustavi-2 TV, as soon as possible, News Georgia reports.
Kitsmarishvili’s bodyguards found him dead in his car in an underground parking lot in the building where he lived in the center of Tbilisi. A gun registered by Kitsmarishvili on the day of his death was found. The main police theory is suicide.
Friends and colleagues of Kitsmarishvili do not believe he committed suicide and claim that he was in a normal mood that day. Prosecutors have initiated a case into abetment of suicide.
