Georgian agriculture minister meets German minister for economy and energy

Georgian Minister Shalva Pipia met Ulrich Benterbusch, the head of the EU-Twinning section of the Eastern Partnership and the Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy, in Tbilisi and described agriculture in Georgia, Trend reports.Pipia said that Georgia had strengthened the National Agency for Food, developed a national program that will require adoption of about 90 laws for product standards. Benterbusch noted that Germany praised Georgian efforts and its choice of the European integration path.The sides agreed to start realizing an intergovernmental consultative project in autumn 2014. BerlinEconomics (Germany) will work on the project.
