Sanctions against Iran’s Shahid Rejaie Port lifted

 

Director General of the Bar va Bahr Iran Maritime Company, Omid Maleq, said today that international sanctions against the Shahid Rejaie Port (south of Iran, Persian Gulf) will be lifted as soon as Wan Hai 512 (a Taiwanese ship) arrives, Iran.ru reports.Wan Hai is the first company to start cooperating with the port after the lift of sanctions. A few years ago, Iran started transforming the port into a global maritime network. About $290 million of private investments will be spent on its development.
