He made a unique present to Shamil Alyautdinov, Poklonnaya Hill Mosques’ Imam. “Our religious activists have translated the Koran into the Ingush language. It is a great event for the culture of the Ingush people, the Ingush language. This translation preserves our language for centuries, it won’t be lost; it will be reflected in the Koran,” Yevkurov said.

The head of Ingushetia told Vestnik Kavkaza: “Not only Muslims, but also local Orthodox residents gather in the Pavilion every day. It shows how united people are these days, this month. Of course, there is an opportunity to help the poor and suffering people.”

Isa Khamkhoyev, the mufti of Ingushetia, told Vestnik Kavkaza: “It is true that today we have seen the unity of people, mutual understanding and mutual love. And this is very important in Islam. We know that the world is restless today. So I think we should protect our Russia, our great motherland, starting with small steps.”
