Tskhinvali to host discussions of geopolitics after war of August 2008

 

Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) will host an international science conference on August 7-9 to discuss geopolitical changes and conflicts in the post-Soviet space after the South Ossetia-Georgia war of August 2008.The topics include conflicts in the South Caucasus and Ukraine, national extremism, fascism, information wars, coverage of South Caucasus and Ukraine conflicts in Russian and foreign media. Experts and political analysts will arrive for the conference from Russia, Abkhazia, Transnistria, Armenia, the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine.A collection of reports will be published after the conference.
