Presidents of Russia and Iran discuss progress of negotiations on Iranian program Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a telephone conversation with the head of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, about negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, the press service of the Kremlin reports.The leaders also discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip. Both sides stressed the need to put an end to the armed confrontation and resume direct Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
