Moscow to host CIS Economic Council

Moscow will host the 47th session of the CIS Economic Council at the
All-Russian Exhibition Center on September 17, News Azerbaijan
reports, citing the press-service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The talks include preparation of the free-trade zone agreement,
innovative cooperation of CIS members until 2020, food security
concept of CIS, meat and milk market, exhibitions, production and
consuming of energy resources, social medical development, improvement
of living standards for war veterans, participants of local conflicts
and their families until 2015.

Other topics of discussions are amendments to the agreement on state
duty and the order of its payment in disputes between economic
subjects of December 24, 1993, training and re-training of archive
specialists, document managing specialists at the CIS Science-Research
Institute of Documents and Archives, realization of inter-regional and
border cooperation, protocol on international roads of September 11,
1998, monitoring of trade policy, air defense, single budget of
2009-2011, realization of decisions of the Economic Council of June
17, 2010, humanitarian cooperation of CIS.

The CIS Economic Council is the main executive structure fulfilling
agreements of CIS members, decisions of the Council of CIS members and
heads of CIS states on forming and functioning of free trade zone and
other social-economic cooperation.
