German foreign minister calls anti-Russian sanctions effective and wants more

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that sanctions against Russia were effective even before being officially implemented. He noted that capital was fleeing, the economy crashing and people banned from the EU, Bild Deutsche Welle reports.

EU foreign ministers are meeting in Brussels today. One of the topics they will discuss is new sanctions against Russia.
