Head of Georgian parliament to speak at Knesset

Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili will make a speech at the Knesset today. He arrived in Tel Aviv last night to meet his Israeli counterpart Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and Head of the Israeli-Georgian friendship group Abraham Michael.

Usupashvili will meet Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Head of the Knesset Foreign Committee Ze'ev Elkin and Leader of the Opposition Isaak Herzog. The Georgian official will lay flowers at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem.
