25 militants remain in Ingushetia

 

Up to 25 militants remain active in Ingushetia, according to Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, ITAR-TASS reports.He noted that there were no high-scale operations ongoing to neutralize militants. The official expects the majority of the militants to give up voluntarily.Yevkurov clarified that about 8 militants were hiding in Europe and waiting for a good moment to return. Overall, the situation, according to the Ingush leader, has been stable. He added that Ingushetia and the Stavropol Territory were the two most stable regions.
