Pilot dies as MiG-29 plane crashes in Astrakhan

A pilot has died as a result of a recent crash of a MiG-29 plane in Russia's Astrakhan Region, RIA Novosti cites Commander of the Russian Air Forces, Leutenant General Viktor Bondarev as saying.

The incident occurred at around 9 am today. The military have started an investigation into the case.
