SOFAZ grants $489 million for Georgian section of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway construction

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has granted Georgia $489 million for construction of its section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway from Marabda to the Turkish border, Trend reports.

The sum will be transferred to Marabda-Kartsakhi Railway through the International Bank of Azerbaijan. SOFAZ granted $24.9 million for the construction in January-July 2014.
