Margelov to resign as member of Federation Council of Russia

 

Mikhail Margelov, a member of the committee for international affairs of the Federation Council of Russia, will resign, according to Andrey Klimov, deputy head of the committee, Izvestia reports.Margelov was not listed as a candidate for senator of the Pskov Oblast. His fate is unclear at the moment.Acting Governor of the Pskov Oblast Andrey Turchak put Margelov on the list of candidates for senator of the region. Margelov may find a post at the Foreign Ministry.
