Foreign investors interested in Iranian free economic zones

Mohammed Moezeddin, deputy secretary of the Higher Council for Free and Special Economic Zones of Iran, said that Iran will boost investments by organizing international exhibitions for free economic zones, Iran.ru reports.An exhibition on marketing, banking, insurance and investment activities and the 6th Investment Opportunities of Iran exhibition will be hosted on Kish Island on October 21-24.Functionaries say that free economic zones will offer 20-year tax relief, registering companies with 100% foreign capital, import of equipment without having to pay customs fees, free visas to enter the zones, financing assistance.Moezeddin noted that negotiations had been organized in Germany, Italy, Austria, Japan and China to attract investors.
