John Tefft named U.S. ambassador to Russia

The U.S. Senate has approved John Tefft as the ambassador to Russia. Senator Mike Enzi voted against him.

President Barack Obama proposed Tefft for the post on July 11. Tefft has already been US ambassador to Lithuania, Georgia and Ukraine.
