New thermal power plants built in Iran

 

Majid Salehi, the managing director of the Energy Development Organization of Iran, said that 12 new thermal power plants had opened in Iran since September 2014. They produce a total of 1934MW, Trend reports.Salehi noted that thermal, nuclear and hydro power plants in Iran had produced about 100,000GW/h of electricity since March 21. In his words, production of electricity in Iran increased by 7% in 2014, compared with 2013.
