Over 100,000 people left Armenia in January-June 2014

693,362 Armenians left the country and 582,548 returned in January-July 2014. The difference between the numbers of those departing and arriving Armenians amounted to 63,002 at Zvartnos Airport, 2,935 at Shirak Airport in Gyumri, 40,899 at Bagratashen Checkpoint, and 4,959 at Bavra, Zhokhovurg reports.

Russia took harsher measures on migration control in early 2014. Many people were not allowed to cross the border and were sent back.
