Putin says Russia should respond to western sanctions

Russian President Vladimir Putin says Russia should respond to the economic sanctions imposed on Russia by the European Union and the United States. According to Putin, he has already ordered the government to suggest possible measures.

Putin also stresses that using economics to pursue political goals is unacceptable.
