SOCAR sells its share in Turkey's Star

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has decided to sell its share in Turkey's Star media holding company, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports. The company has already started talks with Turkish businessman Fettah Tamince.

"We have started talks concerning SOCAR's willingness to sell its 50 percent share in the holding company. We are ready to leave the market and focus on the main projects launched in the country," Director General of SOCAR Turkey Kenan Yavuz is quoted as saying.
