Khloponin denies rumours on replacement of migrant workers with North Caucasus residents

Alexander Khloponin, Vice-Premier, and authorized presidential envoy
to the North Caucasian Federal District, denied on Friday reports that
the authorities were planning to replace migrant workers with North
Caucasus residents, as well as reports on mass resettlement plans for
he region.

He noted that there will be resettlement, but it only concerns skilled
workers who want to move to other regions, RIA Novosti reports.

Khloponin said that the rumours were a provocation.
