Georgia’s Saakashvili charged with wasting budget funds

 

Georgian prosecutors have charged ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili for wasting over 8.8 million laris (about $5 million) of budget funds on cooks, massage therapists, accommodation of foreign guests at hotels, renting a yacht in Italy and other things.Saakashvili may get 7-11 years of jail.
