North Ossetia among most sports-oriented republics of Russia

The All-Russian Contest for Organizing Best Physical Fitness and Sports Work named North Ossetia the most sports-oriented republic in the category of regions with a population of up to 1 million people, as stated in a letter of Russian Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko to North Ossetian Leader Taymuraz Mamsurov.

Mutko noted that such a high rating had been achieved by launching new sports centers and promoting healthy lifestyles.
