Georgia's income service has simplified customs procedures for
exporters, Business Georgia reports, citing 'Media News'. Earlier an
exporter from a broker company had to fill a declaration, and the
freight was then placed at a terminal. This procedure had certain
expenses.

Now the declaration is filled in by the income service and the freight
does not need to be at the terminal. The export of products worth $13
000 can be carried out using lading bills.

The income service has also started issuing certificates of goods
transport to improve service quality.
