Ukraine passes bill on sanctions

The Ukrainian parliament has passed the bill on over 20 sanctions to protect national interests, security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, RIA Novosti reports.The document allows blocking assets, limiting trade operations, flights and freighting, nullification of licenses, blocking the National Bank’s licensing of currency imports, ceasing of trade agreements, cultural exchanges, visits. The bill on sanctions was approved by the Cabinet on Friday and passed in the first reading on Tuesday.
