Chechen leader denies presence of mercenaries in Ukraine

 

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that Chechens living in Europe were patriots of Russia and Chechen emissary of Chechen separatists Ahmed Zakayev would not engage them in the Ukrainian civil war, ITAR-TASS reports.Kadyrov said that Chechens living in Europe were visiting Chechnya every year. In his words, reports about Chechens fighting in Ukraine were false.
