A political scientist and publicist of Yezidi Kurdish origins, Muraz Adzhoev, talks about the current situation in Iraq. Militants from the extremist Sunni movement "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" took control over vast territories in northern Iraq. According to recent media reports, referring to the Iraqi Minister for Human Rights, Muhammad Al-Sudani, extremists have killed at least 500 Yezidi Kurds and kidnapped about 300 women.
