20 people detained for wiretapping in Turkey

20 out of 32 security officials in 13 Turkish provinces listed for inspection have been detained. Izmir was the center of a wiretapping operation, searches were organized in Istanbul's Yalova and other regions.

About 50 locals complained to the police that their phones had been wiretapped.
