Putin, Lukashenko, Nazarbayev to meet Poroshenko in Minsk

In a week's time the heads of the Customs Union will meet President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and a delegation of the European Commission in Minsk. The agenda includes the association of Ukraine with the EU, the energy security of the region and stabilization of the situation in the south-east of Ukraine.

The Kremlin press service confirmed that Vladimir Putin planned to participate in the meeting. The head of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, suggested during a telephone call to the chairman of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, that an additional meeting in the format should be held in Astana. Barroso approved the suggestion of the Kazakhstan President, RIA Novosti reports.
