Karachayevsk ex-mayor proven innocent

 

Karachayevsk ex-Mayor Soltan Semenov has been declared innocent, press secretary of the Supreme Court of Karachay-Cherkessia Jeanna Lafisheva said. Prosecutors plan to appeal the court’s ruling, Interfax reports.Semenov was suspected of non-purpose spending of 19.5 million rubles of budget funds.
