Regional McDonald’s café inspections start in Russia

 

Rospotrebnadzor has started inspecting McDonald’s cafes in Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Krasnodar Territory and the Sverdlovsk Oblast. Olga Fomicheva, the head of the section for food hygiene of the Rospotrebnadzor Directorate in Tatarstan, said that the inspections had started on August 15, according to schedule, Interfax reports.The directorate in Bashkiria said that cafes will be checked in Ufa in August and emphasized that there were only a few complaints about food quality.Inspections will be organized in the Central Federal District, Moscow, Moscow Region and 16 other regions, RIA Novosti reports.Four McDonald’s cafes have temporarily been closed in Moscow.
