Flights from Makhachkala Airport may be moved to Grozny

 

Flights from the Makhachkala Airport, which was temporarily closed, may be moved to Grozny, said Dagestani Minister for Industry, Transportation and Energy Shirukhan Gajimuradov, RIA Dagestan reports.Buses and railways may be used to transport passengers to Grozny.The Makhachkala International Airport will close for a month on September 29 for reconstruction of the runway. The reconstruction started on August 18 and has been going at night. The airport operates from 7.30am to 7.20pm.
